  Gli Zu sono italiani e sono ska; ska nel senso che skassano. Vi skassano le orecchie, il cervello e
anche i piedi (sì, i piedi) perchè ti beccano il cervello. Sono batteria, sassofono e basso, con numerose
collaborazioni di più o meni prestigiosi e/o famosi della scena jazz/avant/blabla mondiale. Quello che fanno loro non
ve lo dicono, ve lo suonano. Facciamo così: ve la metto un po' sul piano del paragone, così mi sbrigo subito che
gli amici mi aspettano per la birra.
  
  Prendete il jazz contemporaneo e inseritelo, o meglio, decostruitelo
in un'insana struttura autarchica-improv-matematico nello stile dei più migliori Ephel Duath, un tocco di mathrock
tipo Ahleuchatistas o Don Caballero, roba bizzarra insomma, metteci un sassofono che pare il cuggino malvagio di John
Zorn. Schemi che di schema hanno solo il nome, riprese, ritorni, inclusioni, temi che si sovrappongo e si scontrano fra
di loro in un'immensa orgia di songwriting sclerotico. Roba da capogiro.
